Jim Wells County Emergency Services District No. 1 will hold a meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the Abel Perez Fire House located at 101 FM 1540 in Sandia, Texas 78383 to consider adopting a proposed tax rate for tax year 2026. The proposed tax rate is $0.094057 per $100 of value. The proposed tax rate will not increase total taxes in Jim Wells County Emergency Services District No. 1.
